Deltagen
Need: Deltagen is a biopharmaceutical company and an emerging leader in genomic drug discovery and development. The Company’s clients and partners include Pfizer, Inc. GlaxoSmithKline, plc. and Merck, the world’s three largest pharmaceutical companies. Deltagen has recently undertaken product initiatives to capitalize on five years of leading-edge internal software development by making its laboratory data management applications available to third party pharmaceutical and research organizations. As a biopharmaceutical company, Deltagen did not have extensive experience in bringing IT solutions to market, and turned to Winzo Group because of our software marketing expertise. The Company contracted with Winzo Group to develop sales collateral to support the new offering, DeltaDiscovery.

Results: DeltaDiscovery’s target customer is heavily steeped in the highly specialized, research-intensive world of bioinformatics. It was therefore critical the Company’s sales collateral speak to both hard science PhD’s and IT practitioners, articulating process benefits and bottom-line ROI. In this spirit, Winzo Group developed a web page and detailed product data sheet, concisely articulating a sophisticated feature set by outlining real-world applications and benefits. Winzo Group also drafted an in-depth white paper on the critical role IT will continue to play in managing the explosion of data caused by the mapping of the human genome, positioning the Company's offering as a competitive advantage in the drug discovery race.
